The Shasta County Department of Child Support Services will be holding their drive-thru Annual Winter Coat Event this Saturday, December 7th from 9am until supplies run out, at the Redding Civic Auditorium parking lot, 700 Auditorium Drive. Level Up will be offering a free workshop on Cultural Competency open to individuals working for a city or county agency or organization in Butte County on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 10am - 11am in Oroville, CA. The workshop will focus on developing your understanding of what it means to be culturally competent and improving your ability to work with diverse populations in the northstate. This workshop is intended for anyone who is just starting on the road to becoming more culturally competent, and those committed to building respectful relationships with people from diverse communities.
