Meet your neighbors at the upcoming NeighborWorks celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Orland.  Join us in celebrating NeighborWorks Week and their effort in creating and preserving affordable housing throughout the country.  There will be food by Flor de Maiz, face painting, cotton candy, and more!  Look for Level Up and get information on free local resources.  Language assistance for Spanish, Mien and Hmong available....

Level Up will be providing a free training in Oroville on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, focused on developing what it means to be culturally competent and improving your ability to work with diverse populations in the northstate.  This workshop is intended for those starting on the road to becoming more culturally competent, and those committed to building respectful relationships with people from diverse communities.  Space is limited. Join us for a Multi-Cultural Celebration at Central Valley High School in Shasta Lake "Building Community" on Saturday, May 17th from 11am - 3pm.  Meet your neighbors, visit the culture and community tables, sample international food, watch cultural presentations and performances, and get information on local resources.  The event is free.  Stop by the Level Up booth and get information on free local resources for you and your family.  Spanish, Hmong and Mien language assistance available, inquire for other languages....

Speak up, it's Advocacy Day!  Level Up will be joining organizations from across the state at our capitol on Tuesday, April 29th to meet with our legislators about bills that we would like their support on. Show your support on important bills by asking your local legislator to support them and/or submitting testimony in support or opposition of bills....

Join us in celebrating the Lao New Year, "Sabai Dee Pi Mai Lao" on Saturday, April 12th from 3pm - 10pm in Redding, CA at the Senior Citizens Hall.  Experience the Lao culture, sample traditional foods, listen to Lao music, enjoy traditional dance performances, and more.  All proceeds will go to the Redding Lao Temple.  Look for Level Up and get information on free local resources for you and your family.  Language assistance for Lao, Hmong and Mien will be available, inquire for other languages....

The Shasta County Mien Elder Community will be hosting their annual reunion for the Iu Mien on Saturday, March 29th in Shasta Lake.  Mien from all over the northstate and even out of state will be reuniting for a joy filled evening of live music, cultural foods and reminiscing.  Look for Level Up and get information on free local resources.  Language assistance for Mien will be available....
