Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15!  This observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Johnson and was expanded by President Reagan in 1988 to a month-long recognition.  Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the rich histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  Be on the lookout for local activities near you.  Stop by the Level Up booth at Dia del Campesino in Chico on Oct 2nd!
