Level Up NorCal will be at the Glenn County Middle School Career Day on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Orland.  Middle school students will be able to learn about and explore different careers, pathways to those careers, the skills and education needed to be successful and have the chance to win raffle prizes.

The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a national event that brings attention to the importance of mental health. Help raise awareness in our community and spread the word through awareness and advocacy for mental health services and programs.  Challenge yourself and get involved--all actions big or small have an impact on our mental health and well-being and support the millions of people in the U.S. affected by mental illness....

Join us in celebrating this month-long recognition of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Month!  The month of May commemorates and pays tribute to the contributions and accomplishments of Asians, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders in the U.S.  Initially signed into law in 1979 as a week-long recognition, the observance was extended into a month long celebration in 1990.  Stop by local events celebrating and observing AANHPI Month....

Level Up will be at the TRIO ETS College and Career Fair at Shasta College for middle schoolers Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:30am - 1:00pm.  Local middle school students will get a chance to tour the campus, meet various clubs and departments, and learn about potential career pathways.  Enjoy the carnival atmosphere with popcorn and snow cones and as well as balloon artists and face painting.  Stop by the Level Up booth to learn about working with bilingual/bicultural communities and get some goodies!  Contact us for more information....

Join us for the 2023 Iversen Wellness Fair in Chico on Thursday, May 11th from 10am - 2pm at the Iversen Wellness and Recovery Center on 492 Rio Lindo Ave.  There will be live music, prize drawings, burgers grilled by the Chico Police Officers Association, refreshments and fruit by CalFresh Healthy Living, and pick up information on local community resources.  Stop by the Level Up booth for information on free resources for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and spin our prize wheel for some goodies!  Contact us for more information....
