Join us for Sacramento City College’s Hmong New Year celebration on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 3pm – 6pm.  The celebration is a time to honor ancestors and give thanks for the completion of the harvest.  SCC is home to one of the largest Hmong student populations in the nation.  Get information and resources from local vendors, sample cultural foods and find cultural treasures.  Stop by the Level Up booth for information on free local resources.  Hmong, Mien and Spanish language assistance available....

LIFT Tehama is holding a Recycle the Warmth event on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 9am - 3pm at the Tehama District Fairgrounds where anyone needing winter items to stay comfortable during the cold months can go and get free warm clothes, blankets and other winter items.  A free meal is provided to every attendee.  LIFT Tehama works to help families and individuals get back on their feet and build a better future.  Stop by the Level Up booth for information on free local resources.  Spanish, Hmong and Mien language assistance will be available....

Rolling Hills Casino is hosting a Health & Wellness Fair in Corning, Wednesday, Oct. 30th from 10am - 2pm.  Vendors will be there sharing information on health resources, offering free screenings and more!  Stop by Level Up's table for information on free programs and services for you and your family.  Spanish, Hmong and Mien language assistance will be available....

Stop by Oroville's Hmong New Year celebration on Saturday and Sunday, October 12-13, 2024 at Nelson Sports Complex at Nelson Middle School.  Saturday's opening ceremony starts at 10am Saturday.  Sample delicious food, take part in the cornhole, soccer, volleyball or talent competitions, and enjoy the music and dance performances.  Look for Level Up and get information on free local resources and goodies.  Hope to see you all there!...

Level Up NorCal is hosting a Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway for K – 12 in Orland on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10am - 12pm.  Each student will get a backpack and selection of school supplies and we will also have PPE and snacks available.  Parents can get information on free resources and programs available near them.  Supplies are limited, registration required.  Language assistance in Spanish and Mien available....

Level Up will be in Oroville today at Nelson Middle School from 2pm - 3pm and at Gridley's Manuel Vierra Park from 4pm - 5pm giving out N95 face masks, regular face masks, and water for those affected by the Oroville fire.  Supplies are limited and distribution is until supplies are gone.  Stay safe everyone....
