Join Level Up NorCal, the State Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Diversability Advocacy Network led by the Disability Action Center for our Drive-Thru Fall Resource Fair in Oroville on Sept. 19th.  Learn about free resources and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and get help with making your COVID-19 vaccination appointment.  English, Hmong and Mien assistance available. Join Level Up NorCal on August 4th from 9am - 2pm at the Discover Health Fair at Redding Rancheria for a free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at the Redding Rancheria Community Center.  Get information on the vaccine, staying safe and if you get vaccinated that day, get a gift card!  Also available will be free health screenings, craft vendors, and more.  See you there! #togethertowardhealth...

Don't forget to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, wear a mask and stay at least six feet from others.  Also limit your interactions with people outside of your household, and get vaccinated if possible.  If you need language assistance, Level Up can help with making your vaccine appointment, finding a vaccination location, or help at your appointment.  English, Spanish, Hmong and Mien language assistance available. #togethertowardhealth...

Congratulations to everyone on our team, including everyone that makes our programs possible, on being selected a "Team Hero" in the Celebration of Heroes by Far Northern Regional Center and the State Council on Developmental Disabilities.  The award recognizes and spotlights those who embrace inclusion, creating acceptance and opportunities for persons of varying abilities....

Congratulations to Level Up's own Karen Lee as the first recipient of the Celebration of Heroes "Cultural Hero" Award.  Karen works tirelessly with underserved communities where language and cultural barriers are obstacles to equitable access, and serves on multiple committees on equity and diversity.  Celebration of Heroes is a new program to recognize and spotlight those who embrace inclusion as selected by Far Northern Regional Center and the State Council on Developmental Disabilities....

Level Up NorCal will be hosting a FREE vaccine clinic on Saturday, June 12th in Redding from 10am - 1pm for anyone wanting to get vaccinated.  The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to anyone 12 years old and up. Language assistance available for Hmong, Mien and Spanish. Those getting a vaccine will also get meat and veggies, a 20 lb bag of rice, a $10 gift card, face masks, hand sanitizer, be eligible for raffle prizes and other goodies.   California is also offering $50 gift cards to the first 2 million residents to be vaccinated after May 27th. Attendees not getting a vaccine will get face masks, hand sanitizer, meat and veggies.  Also get information on regional center services and guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and safety.  Pre-registration required.  Contact us today to register....
