Level Up will be at the TRIO ETS College and Career Fair at Shasta College for middle schoolers Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:30am - 1:00pm. Local middle school students will get a chance to tour the campus, meet various clubs and departments, and learn about potential career pathways. Enjoy the carnival atmosphere with popcorn and snow cones and as well as balloon artists and face painting. Level Up Norcal was honored to be selected as United Way of Northern California's Toast to Equity award recipient in the nonprofit category. Recipients must demonstrate a strong commitment to equity through their practices, civic engagement, and achievements. Those nominated in each category demonstrate meaningful work in servicing communities that are sometimes underserved, such as economically challenged women, people of color, indigenous populations, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ+ community, the rural poor, and others.
